Following last year’s visit by an Australian team to North Carolina, in 2005 the Australian CA has extended a return invitation. The second annual NC—Australia Test Match will take place September 19–22 in Australia’s national capital, Canberra.

As with all of NC’s team events, this is as much a goodwill event and touring opportunity as it is a competition. Openings are available for NC players across a broad handicap range; interested players should contact NC District President Danny Huneycutt for details.

The match has been planned so that participants may also go on to play in the Australian Open, 9/24–10/2 in Queensland.
