THE LAST LAUGH?

The recent April Fool’s posting fooled not only some players, but some spectators as well. A few came out specially in hopes of a clonkfest, and were disappointed to learn that the hoops were set in the ordinary way.

Ed Roberts, mallet maker to the stars, showed again that he knows how to swing the mallet too. He advanced to the semi-finals with a three-game win over Paul Emmett.

Damon Bidencope is also through to the semis, while the two remaining quarterfinal matches are tied at game-all—Scott v. Jackson and Huneycutt v. Jeff Soo.

Eileen Soo, playing in the championship flight of an open tournament for the first time, improved to 4/6 by winning all three of her games today.
