Tommy Harrington has won the 2007 North Carolina Open Qualifier. According to one awed observer, Harrington was “playing like a man possessed”. In the semi-finals he beat Frank Thompson with a wild and wooly break in last turn. In the final against Bob Whitmore, he had several good turns, including an all round break, en route to pegging out for the win.

David Collie won the first flight knockout.
