Second US Title for Huneycutt
Posted 29 April 2010 to People, Regional & National by Jeff SooDanny Huneycutt (Lexington, NC) has won his second USCA national title, winning the singles at the 2010 USCA Association Croquet National Championships, held April 19–24 at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California. Having also won this title in 2005 in Seattle, Huneycutt becomes the sixth player to win it more than once, joining Bidencope, Mehas, McBride, Taves, and Stark.
Huneycutt’s record for the week was 12/16, including ten triple peels. His win extends the streak of NC-based players winning at least one US national croquet title per year into its twelfth successive year.
